Connection key or Bluetooth
FapperAI reaches a sex toy two ways. The Handy, Autoblow and Vacuglide take an internet connection key. The Kiiroo Keon and Kiiroo ProWand pair over Web Bluetooth. The device sets the route, not the user.

The short answer
A connection key reaches an internet-connected device over the network: any browser works, the device can be in another room, and closing the tab does not drop it. Bluetooth pairs the device to the browser: setup is faster and nothing routes through the device maker, but it needs Chrome, Edge or Opera, the device in range, and the chat tab open. The connection key is the more reliable route.

| Browsers | Any | Chrome, Edge, Opera |
| Works on iPhone | Yes | No |
| Device in range required | No | Yes |

| Setup | Paste a key once | Pick from the browser picker |
| Credential to protect | The connection key | None |
| Routes through the device maker | Yes | No |
How an internet connection key works
An internet-connected stroker keeps its own network connection and identifies itself with a connection key. Copy the key from the device maker app once and paste it into Connect toy. FapperAI then reaches the device over the network. The browser carries the conversation only, so browser choice and device distance do not apply.
How Web Bluetooth pairing works
Web Bluetooth links the browser to the device directly. There is no account and no key, and no part of the session reaches the device maker. The browser must implement the Web Bluetooth API, the toy must be in range, and the chat tab must stay open.
Connection key security
A connection key grants control of the device to anyone holding it. Keep it out of screenshots, support messages and pasted logs. Generate a new key in the device maker app to invalidate an exposed one. Bluetooth pairing involves no credential.
Connection key and Bluetooth failures
A connection key fails when the device drops off wifi, the device sleeps, or the key was regenerated in the maker app. Bluetooth fails when the chat tab closes, the device sleeps, another tab holds the device, or the toy moves out of range.
- Connection key unreachable: confirm the device is on wifi, then re-copy the key from the maker app
- Bluetooth dropped: reopen the chat tab, wake the device, disconnect any other tab holding it
Device control cost and daily allowance
Pairing makes the device available and nothing more. Playback starts when you ask in the conversation, and Stop in the controller ends it. Device control draws on the same daily text, photo and voice allowance as the rest of the chat. One subscription covers every character.
Common questions
- What is the difference between a connection key and Bluetooth?
- A connection key reaches an internet-connected device over the network, so any browser works and the device need not be nearby. Bluetooth pairs the device to the browser, which needs Chrome, Edge or Opera, the device in range, and the chat tab open.
- Which one should I use?
- The device decides. The Handy, Autoblow and Vacuglide take a connection key. The Kiiroo Keon and Kiiroo ProWand pair over Bluetooth. For a new purchase, a connection-key device is more reliable and is the only route that works on iPhone.
- Where do I find my connection key?
- In the device maker app, not in FapperAI. The device page for your model gives the exact location.
- Is a connection key safe to share?
- No. A connection key grants device control to whoever holds it. Generate a new key in the maker app if it has been exposed.
- Does Bluetooth send anything to the device maker?
- No. Web Bluetooth pairing is a direct link between browser and device. A connection key routes through the maker service, because that is how an internet-connected device is reached.
- Can I switch a device from one route to the other?
- No. The Handy, Autoblow and Vacuglide support the connection key only. The Kiiroo Keon and ProWand support Bluetooth only.
